Seisin is built to keep your information private. The short version: the app stores everything on your own computer, and this website does not track you.
All of your data, applications, offers, interview notes, resumes, and settings,
is stored locally on your device (on Windows, under
AppData\Local\Seisin). There is no account, no sign-in, and nothing
is uploaded to us or anyone else.
Seisin's use of the internet is deliberately limited. It never uploads your applications, offers, interview notes, resumes, or salaries, and it makes no requests at all in the background beyond the update check. There are exactly three cases where the app talks to the internet:
None of these send anything about you: no personal data, no salaries, no application data. As with any internet request, the provider on the other end (GitHub, the job site, or the ECB) may record standard technical information such as your IP address in its own logs. All three are avoidable: ignore update prompts, type job details in by hand, and edit exchange rates yourself.
This site is a static page. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no third-party scripts, fonts, or trackers. We do not collect personal data through it. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (including IP addresses) for security and operational purposes as a data processor on our behalf.
Because the app keeps your data on your device and this site collects no personal data, there is nothing for us to export, correct, or delete on your behalf. You remain in full control of your local data and can back it up or remove it at any time from within the app. Under the GDPR you retain your rights regarding any limited data a hosting provider may process; contact us if you have questions.
