About Seisin
Seisin is a desktop application that helps people organise their job search. It keeps every application, document, interview and contact in one place on the user's own computer, and shows how the search is progressing. It is free to use, with no account required.
Principles
What Seisin is built on
- Data stays with the user
- Seisin has no user accounts and no servers holding personal data. Everything entered in the application is stored in a local database on the user's own computer, and nothing from a job search is sent to Seisin.
- Open about network activity
- The privacy policy lists every occasion on which the application connects to the internet, and none of them carries personal or job-search data.
- Independent of employers
- Seisin carries no advertising or sponsored content and has no commercial relationship with any employer or recruiter.
- A free core
- Tracking, interview preparation, CV and cover letter writing, networking and analytics are free. A premium version is planned for November to December 2026, as an addition to the free version.
Development
An independent project
Seisin is developed independently by Abdelrahman Sheibani, a Data Science & Management student at Universidade Europeia in Lisbon, Portugal. The first public version was released in July 2026.
Seisin also works with universities and their careers services. Information for institutions is available on the For universities page.
